Shameless Blues

There is a whole gang of musicians from the area around Carleton Place that mix and match together to form several bands. In our opinion Shameless Blues is probably the best of the lot. The combined experience of these musicians plus the variety of their repertoire makes them a real crowd pleaser. Definitely a band for dancing!Check out their website here.

The Fran Band has been rocking the valley in style for many years. With a vocal style reminiscent of Janis Joplin, it is hard to sit still when Fran starts wailing the blues. The rest of the band are all well seasoned musicians with many years of experience.....good tight rockin blues favourites.

Snake Boogie

Craig Peterkin , the lead guitarist of Snake Boogie was one of the "sleepers" last year and definitely wowed the crowd. You may have heard Craig here before with Robin Hawkins and the same amazing guitar work and tight arrangements are evident in Snake Boogie.
Though the band hails from southern Ontario, Craig is no stranger, having summered on Kamaniskeg for years. Come out and hear some of the best guitar playing of the summer.

Sab and the Family Band
Sat Sept 3
Some of you may remember this band from last year, so you already know how good they are. Sab has been on the road in Canada and elsewhere for the last 30 years or so. Anyone who survives that has to have his act together. He also finds time to host the annual "Sabstock", a weekend full of music at his farm near Pembroke. These guys are real rockers and we think a great choice for the last weekend of our summer.
